Wings of Love

Wings of Love

Feb 26, 2010

Happiness is a frame of mind. Every day I have to devote a little of my time to either smelling the flowers, looking at the rain, and telling myself, I am worth it. After awhile, the daily routine comes naturally. What no one hardly sees is the sadness deep inside trying to crush the hope. Life gives me lemons, and I make lemonade out of them.

I heard this song a little while ago with these lyrics:

“You don’t have a clue, what it is like to be next to you….
When the road gets dark. And my love throws a spark. Have a little faith in me..”

People find love in random places. And in the beginning, people get to know a side that was not available for the public. So when that happens, people run the other way. But little do they realize that sooner or later, in order to live their life, they have to see their life, and you can’t always walk on one side of the street forever. It’s all about chances and taking risks, and if you haven’t messed up your love too bad, perhaps the two of you can see each other for who you are. Which is two people in love, here and now.

When one chapter of your life closes, another one opens. The journey of life is full of drama, and ups and downs. Redefining your life so that you can get to the next level is an extraordinary step to take in your life. But first you have to define yourself. Who are you?

WHO ARE YOU?

This question begs other question, before it can be answered. What do you need? What do you want? What have you learned? Your Life Lessons? What do you fear?

Millions and millions of people are getting into relationships not knowing who they are first, and have set their hopes on finding love to complete them, or take care of them. When that happens are people looking for love or a mother?

Knowing who you are is important. Having knowledge gives you substance. Without knowledge how are you suppose to have a conversation. You can’t keep quoting songs and love poems on your dates and through out your relationships. Everyone has an authentic side to them, and we should all explore that, as that is the side that gives us wings to fly in love.

Wings are not just given, but are gained through dusty roads of pain, sorrow and emptiness. When you go through those roads and make it out alive in one piece, and you still believe in love and are willing to take a leap of faith. Then by god man – you will have wings.
